InFrame Cluster Tool Controller

The InFrame Cluster Tool Controller (CTC) by acp-IT is a flexible and open software solution to control a set of independent equipment resources built as a cluster tool.

InFrame CTC was developed in close co-operation with Fraunhofer Institute of Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart to guarantee highest quality and openness for further improvement of functionality.

InFrame CTC is a modular and flexible software application in combination with a powerful software library to integrate sophisticated cluster tools. InFrame CTC consists of following main modules

Machine Management (CTC-MCM)
Material Management (CTC-MAM)
Process Job Management (CTC-PJM)
Recipe Management (CTC-RM)
User Management (CTC-UM)
Equipment Connect (RM-EC)
Middleware Connect (RM-MC)

InFrame CTC is fully based on state-of-the-art software architecture and development standards. It is one of the first cluster tool controller software packages implemented in Java programming language and makes extensive use of the most modern communication infrastructure based on XML. Through usage of these technologies the CTC is platform-independent and scaleable according to user needs. Furthermore, it can be integrated easily and seamlessly into arbitrary existing IT system environments (e.g. connection to manufacturing execution system, MES).

InFrame CTC addresses semiconductor, microsystem, optoelectronic, and electronic manufacturing markets. Thereby, the InFrame CTC can be adapted easily to customer-specific needs.
