Curriculum Vitae

Frank Frauenhoffer obtained his diploma degree in Electrical Engineering at Stuttgart University, Germany, 1995. Since 1995 he has been R&D; engineer at the Fraunhofer Society, Institute of Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in the Department of Cleanroom Manufacturing. As project manager he was responsible for the management of numerous projects in the area of manufacturing science in microelectronics, cleanroom automation and the development of integrated IT systems for logistics and manufacturing. His R&D; project teams developed several high-end distributed IT-systems. Frank has made various scientific publications and has been speaker at several international conferences and workshops. Frank received a PhD (Dr.-Ing.) in mechanical engineering. The title of his PhD thesis was "Process Flow Modell for integrated circuit manufacturing". Since 2001 Frank is CEO of acp-IT AG, Stuttgart, Germany. acp-IT supplies unique software solutions for logistic problems in complex manufacturing (e.g. semiconductor manufacturing). acp-IT's solutions are based on the most modern software standards and contribute at the best to the customers' economic requirements.

National and International Experience Representative of Frauenhofer IPA in the industry project "Development of world-wide datamodels for engineering documents management" for Siemens HL (today: Infineon). Project manager of "Smart Fabrication Flexible Fab"; joint project of German semiconductor manufacturers for the developent of new logistic concepts and systems for customer-oriented flexible semiconductor manufacturing. Representative of Frauenhofer IPA in the industry project "World-wide introduction of an ERP system" for Philips Albuquerque. Project manager of the industry project "Development of logistic data models for enterprise resource planning and fab control" for ALTIS, Paris. Several business trips in Europe, US and South East Asia. Worldwide contacts. Speaks German, English and has basics in French.
