Mark Suntrup

Mark Suntrup obtained his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dortmund/Germany in 1995. From 1995 on he has been a scientist and project manager in the Department of Cleanroom Manufacturing at the Fraunhofer Society, Institute of Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (Fraunhofer IPA). His working fields are the examination, specification and development of innovative object-oriented shop floor control and machine management systems in the semiconductor industry. Therefore, he contributed to international working groups of SEMI which are concerned with standardization in this area. He was a project manager responsible for different industrial and research projects in the field of shop floor control and machine automation. He published several papers in trade journals like "European Semiconductor" and "Semiconductor Fabtech".
In summer 2001 he joined advanced clean production Information Technology AG (acp-IT AG), a spin-off of Fraunhofer IPA, as senior consultant. His expertise especially lies within structuring, specification and selection of IT systems in the manufacturing control domain.
