Business Logic
The topic business logic is covered within the InFrame Synapse Simulation Suite by the Production Control library which contains about 20 elements. It includes the so called JobExecutionFramework that makes a clear separation between equipment modeling and process flow definition possible.
This is achieved by an automated communication between equipment modeling and process flow definition parts of the models. Furthermore, the library contains elements that support a graphical process flow modeling. The following picture shows an example process flow which outputs two different kinds of products. It makes clear how products to be produced (dark blue), process steps (beige) and decisions (green) can be defined.
