5th SMET Advanced Photovoltaic Manufacturing Technology Conference

Acp-IT gives an outlook about An Integrated and Straight Roadmap to highest Manufacturing Efficiency at the 5th SMET Advanced Photovoltaic Manufacturing Technology Conference; When: May 28th 2009 from 3:10pm to 3:35pm; Where: Munich, Germany during the Intersolar trade fair
The presentation is pointing out the requirements to be fulfilled in order to gain an integrated and straight roadmap of developing an advanced process control environment.
Photovoltaic manufacturing is just entering a road to develop process control strategies already being passed by the semiconductor industry. However, the investment capital available to the photovoltaic industry is significantly lower. It is thus necessary to reflect the road of development in the semiconductor industry, learn from experiences already made and thus to start the road from advanced opportunities available today.
The following disciplines as there are flexible collection of measurement and equipment data with appropriate quality, statistical process control (SPC), fault detection and classification (FDC), feed forward/backward (FF/FB) and virtual metrology (VM) are briefly introduced, and the logical and thus close interaction between these disciplines is explained. Additionally, strategies how to integrate process control strategies with an existing MES is provided by reflecting to available industry standards and experiences.
Last but not least the continuous improvement process and change-management of process control scenarios is covered.
Based on the shown interaction of disciplines the attendee learns how to start on a process control roadmap after a MES is being established. The attendee learns how to establish flexible data collection and topics to be considered for future applications using these data.
Beside an insight about the process to SPC and FDC the attendee learns about the future opportunities of using the combination of these data in advanced scenarios and about the trap-doors on the development road-map, too.
The presentation is performed by Roland Willmann acp-IT’s product manager and architect for process control systems.
We are looking forward to see you.
