3D Models

3D models are now possible with the help of AnyLogic 6.5. Factory layouts can be made more detailed and the whole material flow is much better visualized due to the 3D animation.

3D models are also based on a 2D design of the virtual FAB, on top of which come the 3D objects. The logic for the material flow stays the same, but functionalities which require 3D movement need to have extra implementation. It’s is possible to import .wrl files which makes the animation part much easier.
