Within the InFrame Synapse MES Recipe Management the recipes and recipe names to be used for production are centrally managed. With these elements active resources are controlled to reach their process targets.
The assignment of recipes to active resources takes place by using so called Process Capabilities. The combination of Resource and Recipe defines a Capability. These Capabilities will then be used within the Process Plans and according Work Instructions. Within the Capability a pre selection is realized, which ensures, that only the recipes that can be physically executed, that are assigned to a certain resource.
In addition the Advanced Recipe Management allows the automatic up- and download of recipes to production equipment.
